Only 10 sleeps left til Christmas! To mark this countdown, we’ve created the campaign: “10 Days, 10 Cards” for a Christmas of hope in this challenging year.

We’ll be displaying 10 different cards related to specific people: the Irish diaspora, the Irish that won’t make it home for Christmas this year, to multicultural families in Ireland, to families of migrant and refugee children, in memory of our loved ones, memories of lovely past Christmases & others.

The aim of these digital cards is to show your support for the Museum of Childhood Ireland Project. Please feel free to share and send these cards to your loved ones. And if you can, we kindly ask you to donate to the Museum, any amount is welcome. If you would like to send a personalised digital card, let us know.

Enjoy and many thanks for your kind support,

The volunteers of the Museum of Childhood Ireland Project

In the words of Senator Alice-Mary Higgins “There is no simple or singular version of childhood in Ireland or anywhere..”

Valuing every version of childhood and each image of the child is at the core of the Museum’s work. Today’s Christmas card, as part of the #10days10cards campaign, is dedicated to the multiculturalism of Ireland, and the value of all our children.

Please feel free to share and send these cards to your loved ones. If you can, we kindly ask you donate to the Museum, any amount welcome. If you’d like to send a personalised digital card, let us know.

We know Christmas 2020 will be a different Christmas. We wish it to be a Christmas of Hope in this challenging year. If you won’t be able to hug someone that you love, please feel free to send a card from the Museum of Childhood Ireland Project expressing the love of a familiar hug.

The aim of these digital cards is also to show your support for the Museum of Childhood Ireland Project. If you can, we kindly ask you to donate to the Museum, any amount is welcome. If you would like to send a personalised digital card, please do let us know.

2020 has impacted on and changed our lives in many different ways. The pandemic has required people to adapt, adjust and make sacrifices. This Christmas, many people won’t be able to come home. Today’s Christmas card, as part of the #10days10cards campaign, is dedicated to all the people that will be away from their loved ones this year. Please feel free to send this card to anyone you know who may be doing so.
