Our team has room for new members.
Would you like to:
- Make a real difference in an important national project?
- Make sure the ideas and interests of children and young people have top priority in the new museum?
- Help create a truly child-friendly, welcoming and inclusive museum?
- Collaborate with young people from all backgrounds in all parts of Ireland?
- Learn new skills to communicate, organise and defend rights?
- Learn about how museums work?
You can join our team if you:
- Live in Ireland (north or south)
- Are aged 10-17 years
- Think this looks interesting
- Can get a parent or guardian’s consent.
You don’t need any previous experience of advisory work; you just need experience of being a child.
You’ll need to get on-line (but if this will be a problem, we’ll find a way to solve it).
Our team is supported by experienced, fully-vetted adult facilitators, and safeguarding participants is their top priority.
If you’re interested, download our full information leaflet here:
Read and discuss it with your parents, and if you agree, the leaflet tells you how to request a sign-up/consent form.
